To all, as you read this please a offer a moment of silence for my cousin, Wilson V. Ma, who passed away yesterday. He’s a caring husband/father and a great painter/artist (a member of the Malang-led Saturday Group). His body lies at Chapel 5 of La Funeraria Paz, Quezon City.

• POLITICS

  Hindi pa din natatapos si garci, di pa rin bumababa. Pinakain na ata ng sangkatutak na pera ang mga naka mahabang kargada kaya hindi na siguro babaliktad. Eh san naman galing ang pera? Tanong ka pa, san ba napunta yun P728 Million? Speaking of, nahuli na pala sa US. Anyway yoko na maki-elam jan, his son is a good friend of mine. Pizza! Pizza! Cha-cha! Kudeta! Wala ng kwenta!

  In Badminton, Europe bags the MVP Cup 2 title by beating Asia 10-6. The Asuncions were great, sadly they lose once again. But on the brighter side they are now up to No. 20 in the Mixed Doubles World Ranking!

  Ginebra bows out of contention in the All Filipino Cup. Purefoods is one win away from bagging the championship. It will be Limpot’s first championship ring if ever. He can now retire, I mean he should.

  Manny Pacquiao won unanimously against Oscar Larios.

• WORLD

  Asia is now officially a war-zone. US continues to battle the Militias in Iraq. North Korea continues to test their long-range missile in the pacific ignoring world pressure. Iran continues to research on nuclear technology. And the latest one, Israel vs Lebanon (Hezbolla). Mukhang ang trend na ngayon eh magparamihan ng rockets na binabato.

  Indonesia once again was struck by Tsunami. India was terrorize with 7 bombs that blasted 7 railway stations in Mumbai. Mayon Volcano threatens to explode, lava continues to flow, ashes continues to fall.

• TECHNOLOGY

  AMD AM2 was released last month, now utilizing and giving importance to memory bandwidth by transferring to DDR2 technology though in paper socket 939 is still leading in gaming benchmarks. No real advantage aside from increased bandwidth. Intel will release the very much awaited P4 Conroe next month, get ready for the most powerful processor to date. 15s in super pi 1M, whoa!

  Prices of S939 Venice and X2 are expected to drop. Just sold my 3800+ a month ago…
